I Keep Installing The Norton Antivirus From The Yahoo Protection Center, But It Doesnt Work. Can Anyone Help?

It’s removing the infected files, but doesn’t seem to be removing the virus. It’s called Win32/Relfeer.B The problem is that I’ve switched antivirus programs before and it’s just such a big headache with programs not being able to work together and causing conflicts… Does this program not remove viruses? Is it limited in that respect that it will only detect and remove the infected files? What should I do…
