I have had this happen multiple times: I am reinstalling a computer of mine with the correct operating system and the key from the side of the computer it is being installed on, yet I still get rejected… why!?

I was in the long term process of backing up my iTunes library, which came as a great annoyance and seeing the irony of the crash happening at that particular moment. Another Irony being that my last iPod broke a year ago.
I sent my failed hard drive off to a data recovery clinic who managed to rescue most of my hard drive and put it onto a series of dvd’s. I bought a new hard drive for my laptop. I installed iTunes and have burned all the music from albums I own onto iTunes. However, when I come to the music I have purchased (which shows up as a lock symbol), it won’t play. These songs are from the recovery DVD’s sent to me and appear undrer iTunes in the My Music folder. I double click on the icon, it takes me to iTunes but nothing else happens. It recognises the file but refuses to play.
Why won’t iTunes recognise the songs? There is nothing wrong with the DVD they are on!
