How To Change Default Setting Of Operating System From 64-bit To 32-bit?

Im trying to install a broadband modem on my new windows 7 computer.
However, the installation cd can only operate on a 32-bit operating system using internet explorer for installation to work. Im trying to find a new cd but it costs to get it.
Does anyone know how to change the default setting to 32-bit?

Is It Better To Defrag My Computer Using The Default Disk Defragmenter, Or The Defrag On My Antivirus Software?

Should I use the ‘Disk Defragmenter’ that comes with Windows to defrag my computer, or use the defragmenter that comes with my antivirus software. Which is better? Thanks for the help!
